The Cartage Joomla/Zencart Bridge from connectage.com is close to release.

What it's all about?

This new "Cartage" component for Joomla will provide an effective bridge between two open-source platforms, the cutting edge content management system "Joomla" and the powerful ecommerce platform "ZenCart". The bridge will create common logins and map user information between the two products, as well as allow zencart to sit cleanly within the Joomla pages and sideboxes from zencart to be shown around the Joomla site. This provides one of the most powerful e-commerce features available in your Joomla Content Management System website.

The work has been long in preparation, and believe it or not.. is currently in use on some live sites.. but it has taken time to put together as a user friendly Joomla component that is easily installable and configurable to the end user.

Well... most of the core component is now nearing completion of our testing, ready for Beta release very soon.
